The word “church” is mentioned only a few times in Scripture and “the Kingdom of God” is mentioned more than a hundred times.

Jesus made a staggering remark in John 3:3 when He said: “Unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Jesus tied the concept of being illuminated, awakened, born again, or born from above, to the ability to see the Kingdom of God.

When we're "born again" we're awakened to a completely different culture.

Here's an overview of what you'll learn about the environment of the Kingdom--

The culture of the Kingdom of God because the Kingdom can't be seen with our natural vision or heard with our natural ears. It is a spiritual Kingdom, and its principles cause the whole universe to work.

When Jesus spoke about the Kingdom of God, He was referring to the realm of where and how God works.

To understand how God works, then, we need to understand the Kingdom.

And, to live the presence of the Kingdom-- which is within us (Luke 17:20-21)-- with need to understand the culture of the Kingdom.

Many believers love God, are saved, and know their eternal salvation is secure. But, they still seem to walk in lack.

Here’s why— the Kingdom has its own currency.

When we make the shift, we then begin to experience the benefits of the Kingdom and the blessings of God are the results of this exchange.

Jesus told us how Kingdom currency works in  Matthew 13:3-8. In fact, He said that if we didn’t understand this parable, we won’t be able to understand any of the other parables and teachings of the Kingdom…

Jesus focused on the seed in this parable, which explains how the Kingdom works in every area of life.

According to the words of Hosea 4:6, “...we perish for lack of knowledge because we do not understand the timing of God.”

Jesus referred to this in Matthew 16:1-3: “You know how to look at the sky and tell when it is going to rain and predict the weather but you do not understand the timings or the purpose of God.”

In the natural, timing is the factor that brings success or failure to the life of a farmer.

It is important that we learn to recognize the supernatural seasons in the Kingdom of God of when to sow, and when, and how, to move with God.

Many of us compartmentalize church, work, or family but in actuality, everything in the Kingdom of God is to be holy. Every part of life is holy because God wants to be in every part of our lives.

That is, there's not any area of life the Kingdom culture doesn't impact in a positive way!

The Bible paints a picture of the “all of life” community the early church experienced. They shared meals, prayed, and worshiped God together in one another’s homes, they gave to each other and made sure everyone’s needs were met.

This is such an important topic, that we focus on community for an entire module of the The Freedom Track-- see Community 301, the next course!
